The Mediterranean Innovation Agrifood Week 2025, a key event for innovation in the Mediterranean region, took place from November 25 to 28, 2025. Organized by CIHEAM Bari, the event brought together start-ups, companies, incubators, institutions, and experts around innovation, entrepreneurship, and sustainability in the agri-food and green & blue economy sectors. Over four days, conferences, panels, workshops, masterclasses, pitch sessions, and networking opportunities allowed participants to meet, share, and develop concrete collaboration opportunities across the Mediterranean and Africa. Algeria was represented by VoltaGaz, a promising startup supported by Leancubator through the Startup10 program.

VoltaGaz stood out for its innovative approach to sustainable energy: a solution based on low-carbon gases, integrating IoT, artificial intelligence, and monitoring and logistics optimization tools to produce and distribute energy efficiently and responsibly.

The startup benefited from coaching, mentorship, and pitch sessions to prepare for international events like the Mediterranean Innovation Week, through structured support from Leancubator via Startup10, a program designed to support young companies in the “green & blue economy” in Algeria and nine other partner countries.

VoltaGaz’s participation in this major event served as a strategic showcase: the startup presented its solutions to an international audience, engaged with experts, created partnerships, and explored new growth opportunities across the Mediterranean and beyond.

This was therefore a major milestone for VoltaGaz and a source of pride for Leancubator, which continued to support Algerian innovation and propel local talent onto the international stage.
