Innovation, Diaspora & Entrepreneurship — Building the Bridges of Tomorrow

Yesterday, June 2nd, Leancubator, in collaboration with the National Polytechnic School of Algiers (ENP Algiers), organized this meeting as part of the Algeria Avenir 2026 mission led by ALFRANC NETWORK. A delegation of 35 business leaders, investors, and experts from the Algerian diaspora and the broader African diaspora in Europe traveled to Algiers.

Program:

  •  The Director of the National Polytechnic School of Algiers (ENP Algiers) shared the school’s vision and its commitment to serving talent and innovation.
  •  Abdelfettah Herizi — CEO of Leancubator, presented Leancubator’s activities and programs.
  •  Chems Eddine Bemmoussat, Director of Support Structures and Startups at MECSM, presented the Algerian startup ecosystem and national support mechanisms.
  •  Karim IDIR — President of ALFRANC NETWORK, presented the vision and ambitions of the Algeria Avenir mission.

This was followed by a thematic panel moderated by Pr. Samir Bouaziz (Université Paris-Saclay / AASO), bringing together Abdelfettah Herizi, Chems Eddine Bemmoussat, Souheil Guessoum, MBA (President of CAPC Algeria), Sékou O. (President of AASO / ALFRANC NETWORK), and Josiane Uwitonze (Belgian-Rwandan entrepreneur, Cross-Border Finance Forum for SMEs – CBFF-SME).

Five Algerian startups pitched in front of the delegation:
Think Touch Solution by Farah Bouras | Biofertech by Ounas Rostom | SMART Drilling Solutions by Hamza Abdellatif | Candy Tech by Sofiane Chebri | APSEC by Nedjat Aidi.

The event featured rich discussions, networking opportunities, and the emergence of new collaborations.
