New Developments in the Commercial Register Reform (2026)

The Ministry of Internal Trade and Market Regulation is currently finalizing a reform of the commercial register aimed at modernizing access to commercial activity in Algeria. The reform is primarily based on the digitalization of procedures, improved transparency of economic information, and stronger interconnection between public administrations.
The stated objective is twofold: to simplify administrative procedures for economic operators while strengthening the State’s capacity for oversight and regulation, particularly in a context marked by efforts to combat fraudulent practices and money laundering.
The National Center of the Commercial Register (CNRC) places the electronic platform “Sidjilcom” at the core of the reform. The platform is expected to gradually become the single entry point for most procedures related to the commercial register.
