The Algeria Startup Challenge returns for its sixth edition under the patronage of the Ministry of Knowledge Economy, Startups, and Microenterprises, alongside the Ministry of Environment and Renewable Energies. As part of ASC 2024 in collaboration with philip Morris International, this challenge encourages innovative solutions to reduce environmental, health, and natural risks. Laureate startups include :

. Basseer: Basseer offers Wildfire, an AI and IoT-based solution that detects forest fires early and predicts their spread. Using smart sensors, it monitors environmental conditions in real-time, enabling proactive fire management.

. TREELAMP: TREELAMP provides a solar lighting pole that purifies the atmosphere by reducing CO2 emissions, equivalent to over 400 trees. It uses algae to convert carbon dioxide into oxygen and extracts biomass to produce biodiesel.
