We are proud to share that VoltaGaz, an Algerian green startup supported by Leancubator within the Startup10 program, has been selected to take part in Tech2Field – the Acceleration Program for Green Startups Ready to Scale.

VoltaGaz is redefining energy production and distribution through low-carbon and renewable gases. Its technology achieves up to 95% efficiency, reduces costs by 70%, and cuts the carbon footprint by 60%. The startup integrates an advanced digital platform with IT, IoT sensors, and AI systems for logistics optimization, preventive maintenance, and real-time energy monitoring, ensuring a complete and efficient energy ecosystem.

Participation in Tech2Field offers VoltaGaz a unique opportunity to strengthen its technical and strategic skills through personalized mentorship, hands-on learning, and international exposure. The program includes in-depth coaching, B2B sessions, and field visits to leading Italian companies in the agri-tech and green innovation sectors. It will conclude with VoltaGaz’s participation in the Mediterranean Innovation Week 2025 in Italy, where startups will pitch their solutions and explore collaboration opportunities.

Organized by CIHEAM Bari in collaboration with Almacube, the incubator, accelerator, and innovation hub of the University of Bologna, Tech2Field is a hybrid acceleration program combining online and in-person learning over four key phases:

  • September 8–26: Online sessions introducing precision agriculture, digital transformation, and sustainable technologies.
  • September 29–October 17: In-person phase in Italy featuring mentoring, technical workshops, company visits, and B2B meetings.
  • October 20–November 7: Online follow-up focused on business model refinement and scaling strategy.
  • November 10–28: Final in-person phase, ending with the participation in Mediterranean Innovation Week 2025 (November 25–28).

Tech2Field is implemented under the umbrella of the Startup10 program, funded by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI). This large-scale initiative supports 140 startups from ten Mediterranean and African countries working in the green and blue economies. Over six months, participants benefit from intensive coaching, connections with Italian enterprises through open innovation, and the opportunity to receive financial grants and extended acceleration support.

Through Tech2Field, VoltaGaz will not only enhance its technological and operational capacities, but also connect with a broader Mediterranean innovation ecosystem, preparing the ground for its market expansion.

This participation demonstrates the growing influence of Algerian startups in driving sustainable transformation and reflects Leancubator’s continued commitment to empowering entrepreneurs who are building impactful, scalable solutions for the future of energy and sustainability.
