After several weeks of support, our three winning startups of this second edition of the Greentech Challenge, organized as part of ASC2023, namely Shams Wa Tabrid, Brickatex, and Sachiya, had the opportunity to present their solutions to the members of the COMEX of BNP Paribas El Djazaïr. Among them were Mr. Pierre BÉRÉGOVOY - CEO, Ms. Amina BESSA - Head of Engagement, Innovation & Digital, Mr. Abdelhadi BENTOBBAL - Director of Finance & Accounting, and Ms. Ryma Ait Amirat - Head of Projects, Engagement & Sustainability.

The three winning startups participating in the Greentech program by BNP Paribas El Djazair are:

• Shems Wa Tebrid - شمس و تبريد: A startup aiming to revolutionize refrigeration systems and make them sustainable. This innovative family project is led by the talented Nadjat Cheriguene, Nourredine Cheriguene, and Farah Cheriguene.
• Brickatex: A startup specializing in the valorization and recycling of textile waste, giving it a second life. It was created by Dr. Chahineze Nawel Kedir.
• Sachia: A platform designed to facilitate community participation in cleaning campaigns and waste management. It was created by Nour M'hamedi and Amani Zhor M'hamedi.

We also had the pleasure of reviewing the Proof of Concept (POC) developed in partnership with the winning startup of the first edition of the Greentech Challenge, DORA - Le Cycle qui Recycle.

This new edition promises to be very promising with our three startups active in the circular economy and Greentech! A range of benefits is offered to participating startups, including the opportunity for open innovation collaboration with BNP Paribas El Djazair, significant support and assistance, and a launch grant of 500,000 DZD for the best startup in the program, which will be unveiled at the grand finale of the Algeria Startup Challenge.
