From November 5-8, Leancubator proudly joined the 2024 ECOMONDO - Italian Exhibition Group in Rimini, Europe’s premier event for ecological transition and circular economy. The occasion spotlighted pivotal discussions and initiatives aimed at driving a greener, more resilient Mediterranean.

At the "CIHEAM Youth Innovation Award 2024," organized by CIHEAM, Union for the Mediterranean (UfM), UNIMED, and BusinessMED, we delved into sustainable food systems and championed green and blue economy advancements. This platform underscored the role of innovation in empowering young entrepreneurs and fortifying regional resilience against climate and societal changes. It was an honor to witness young innovators awarded for their impactful projects across the Mediterranean.

Another highlight was our participation in the "ACCELERATING BLUE INTERREGIONAL COOPERATION IN THE MEDITERRANEAN BASIN" panel, facilitated by Cluster BIG - Blue Italian Growth and ECOMONDO’s Scientific Committee. We discussed strengthening the maritime clusters on the Southern shores and aligning blue economy priorities across the Mediterranean. And sharing our experience within initiative such as Callmeblue project.

This year’s ECOMONDO emphasized Mediterranean collaboration and technology transfer as critical levers for a sustainable future. Together, we’re accelerating the journey towards a circular and regenerative economy, fostering a resilient and vibrant Mediterranean community.
