Leancubator at the Med IA Forum 2025:Immersion into the Future of AI in the Mediterranean
November 22, 2025
Leancubator had the pleasure of taking part in the Med IA Forum on November 20–21, 2025, at the Cité de la Culture in Tunis. This major regional event brought together key players in digital transformation, innovation, and artificial intelligence from across the Mediterranean. Leancubator was represented by its IT Manager, Nassim BENNOUR, who attended the two-day forum to carry forward our vision, strengthen our presence within the regional digital ecosystem, and explore new opportunities for collaboration around AI and emerging technologies.
In addition to the main forum, the broader program around the Mediterranean AI initiative included several strategic activities designed to reinforce regional cooperation and innovation. Among these, a co-creation workshop on “The challenges of AI in the Mediterranean” brought together Mediterranean Entrepreneurship Support Organizations to identify their needs in integrating AI into entrepreneurial support, share best practices, and initiate a regional community of practice . This collaborative spirit aligned perfectly with Leancubator’s mission of enabling knowledge exchange and strengthening the capacities of innovation actors across the region.
The program also featured an impact measurement workshop, a networking lunch with startups involved in the MED IA initiative, a guided discovery of The DOT and the Tunisian entrepreneurial ecosystem, and a conversational roundtable focused on connecting Mediterranean ecosystems in the age of AI, with contributions from key players such as V3 Factory and Impact Partner . These sessions enriched the forum by offering practical, hands-on insights that complemented the high-level discussions of the main event.
Throughout the Med IA Forum, experts, institutions, entrepreneurs, and technology leaders engaged in discussions covering a wide range of strategic themes, including AI in healthcare, digital public services, education and skills development, AI infrastructures and sovereignty, ethics and inclusion, as well as entrepreneurship, investment, and the future of work. With its combination of panels, workshops, exhibitions, and networking opportunities, the forum provided a comprehensive overview of the challenges and opportunities shaping the future of AI in the Mediterranean.
Leancubator’s participation reflected our continued commitment to responsible, inclusive, and impactful digital innovation. By representing our ongoing initiatives and engaging with experts from across the region, Nassim BENNOUR strengthened our strategic insights, explored partnership opportunities, and highlighted our contribution to developing tech talent and supporting startups in Algeria. These exchanges also reinforced our dedication to promoting AI that serves societal needs and aligns with ethical and sustainable principles.

The forum further emphasized the importance of regional cooperation in building a strong and resilient Mediterranean digital ecosystem. Discussions underlined the need for shared infrastructures, cross-border partnerships, and closer collaboration between public institutions, private companies, and academia. This regional vision is fully aligned with Leancubator’s mission to support entrepreneurs and contribute to the development of innovative and scalable technological solutions.
Participating in the Med IA Forum, and in the surrounding activities of the Mediterranean AI program, opened new perspectives for Leancubator in terms of potential partnerships, international collaborations, knowledge-sharing opportunities, and emerging trends that could benefit our community of startups. Moving forward, Leancubator will continue to strengthen its role in promoting digital transformation, building capacities, and fostering the growth of high-impact innovation across Algeria and the Mediterranean.
Leancubator is proud to have taken part in this important regional initiative and remains committed to empowering entrepreneurs and contributing to the development of a vibrant, responsible, and forward-looking tech ecosystem.
