Algeria Startup Challenge 2025: Highlights from the Final of the 7th Edition

Algiers, November 24th, 2025, The 7th edition of the Algeria Startup Challenge (ASC2025) marked a major milestone for the Algerian entrepreneurial ecosystem with its final event, bringing together startups, mentors, experts, and institutional partners to celebrate innovation and entrepreneurial excellence.
Since the launch of the program, the 16 finalist startups have benefited from a comprehensive support journey, including:
Learning & Immersion Days:
100% in-person sessions to explore the ecosystem, engage with experts, and work on open innovation business cases, with the participation of more than 15 involved organizations and 8 organized meetings & workshops.

Fast Track Acceleration:
Personalized diagnostics, group training sessions (10 sessions), and individual coaching (3 one-to-one sessions per startup) to refine their strategy, structure their project, and strengthen their impact on the market, with more than 70 hours of support.
After several months of learning, mentorship, and development, the startups presented their innovative solutions across five thematic challenges: the Greentech Challenges by BNP Paribas El Djazaïr, Harm Reduction Initiative Awards by Philip Morris International, Impact Challenge by Djezzy, Smart Care Challenge by FADERCO, and Innov & Insure by UAR, CASH Assurances, GAM Assurances, CAAT, SAA, CAAR, and Algeria FinLab.
The final day was also honored by the presence of three ministers representing the sponsoring ministries of the Algeria Startup Challenge 2025, highlighting the importance placed on innovation and entrepreneurship in Algeria:

As part of the day’s program, several panels were organized to address key issues within the Algerian entrepreneurial ecosystem. Three major themes were highlighted: Responsible investment & promotion of local content, Responsible insurance and finance as key drivers of sustainable growth, and Venture Clienting as a paradigm for collaboration between startups and large corporations.
Led by experts from the program’s partners, these panels provided concrete insights and inspiring perspectives, offering startups and participants valuable takeaways to accelerate innovation and foster fruitful collaborations.
Finally, the ceremony was marked by the signing of several Open Innovation partnerships, engaging companies and finalist startups in concrete collaborations aimed at testing, deploying, or co-designing innovative solutions.

A strategic partnership was also concluded between Leancubator and Taus by S Five. This structuring collaboration aims to pool expertise, accelerate prototyping, and offer startups privileged access to advanced technical capabilities.
This final day celebrated the creativity, resilience, and potential of Algerian startups while reaffirming ASC’s mission: to connect ecosystem actors, stimulate collaboration, and build a lasting dynamic for innovation in Algeria.
