A new chapter for the OCIF in Algeria and Egypt.

Launched in countries such as Senegal, Jordan, South Africa, Ghana and Palestine, the Orange Corners Innovation Fund (OCIF) is now expanding to Algeria and Egypt. Working with local fund managers, this initiative aims to provide access to financing for early-stage startups with strong growth and impact potential.

Strategic partnership with the Algerian Startup Fund (ASF)

In Algeria, OCIF is partnering with the Algerian Startup Fund (ASF) to support entrepreneurs through pre-seed and seed investments. This strategic partnership is aligned with the common objective of promoting sustainable economic development and empowering young Algerian entrepreneurs.

What OCIF offers to Algerian entrepreneurs

Thanks to its two-part funding structure, the OCIF offers a comprehensive support system for start-ups in the start-up phase, From vouchers for prototypes and monthly grants to substantial financing and in-depth support for the development of the company.

As part of the Orange Corners Acceleration Program, entrepreneurs receive tailored support through workshops, specialized training and high-level masterclasses. These personalized sessions, designed for both founders and, in some cases, their teams, are intended to equip them with the tools they need to overcome growth challenges.
This thorough preparation is a key step in accessing OCIF funding, which can reach up to €50,000.

In addition to technical support, coaching and financing, entrepreneurs also benefit from access to an extensive network, fostering professional connections and strategic partnerships.
The programme is aimed at start-ups, micro-enterprises, farmers, SMEs and artisans, offering support tailored to their specific needs.

In Algeria, the Orange Corners acceleration program is implemented by Sylabs. Registration for the program is open until 25 January 2025, visit the official website: https://orangecorners.sylabs.dz/
