Fostering Public-Private Partnerships to Drive Innovation at CODEWAY
May 17, 2024
A recap of our participation in the CODEWAY EXPO 2024 held at Fiera Roma from May 15 to 17. The international exhibition focused on the role of collaboration between the private and public sectors in the new global development scenarios.
In collaboration with CIHEAM BARI as part of Startup 10, the event brought together representatives from partner incubators involved in the initiative, hailing from the 10 countries engaged in the project. These include the Agricultural University of Tirana (Albania), CERD (Bosnia and Herzegovina), Leancubator (Algeria), APIA (Tunisia), HIMANGEL (Egypt), JEDCO (Jordan), Berytech (Lebanon), SOTEHUB (Kenya), and EAEA (Uganda).
The program featured a series of roundtable discussions on various topics such as "Sharing & Scaling Best Practices in Startup Acceleration and Support," "The Challenges of Public-Private Partnerships in Shaping New Perspectives for International Development and Collaboration," and "Models, Tools, and Services to Energize the Network of Incubators in Africa and the Mediterranean."
This event was a great opportunity to share our success stories and expertise in Algeria, providing an overview of the attractiveness and evolution of our innovation ecosystem. It also helped strengthen our international partnerships and prepare the ground for our incubated startups to forge partnerships with Italian companies.
