On Wednesday, September 20, our three winning startups of the Healthcare Challenge were welcomed by the CM Consulting team at their headquarters as part of the 5th edition of the Algeria Startup Challenge program.

During this captivating day, our startups participated in a workshop led by CM Consulting experts on the theme: "Agile Management of Health Transformation Projects." This is a key topic at CM Consulting, shared with the startups to equip them with essential tools for implementing and designing successful digital health products inspired by agile methodology.

But that’s not all! The day was marked by idea exchanges, brainstorming, and enriching discussions on the contribution of new technologies to improving the patient journey in Algeria and the healthcare sector more broadly. The startups also had the opportunity to strengthen their network by connecting with experts.

The three winning startups participating in the Healthcare program by CM Consulting:

• Mammarate: An innovative project aimed at calculating breast cancer risks, resulting from research conducted jointly by the Higher School of Computer Science (ESI-SBA) and the Cancer Control Center SIDI BEL ABBES (CAC), co-created by Professor Djazia Asma Benchouk, researcher and machine learning engineer Nassima DIF, and state engineers in computer science Boudinar Mohamed El Amine and Abdelali Amine (ESI-SBA).

• DoctoDz: An Algerian startup that offers a digital solution to democratize access to healthcare in Algeria, founded by Mohammed Chougrani. His diverse skills have led him to work tirelessly to improve and expand the services offered by DoctoDZ. For more information: DoctoDz

• DocSight: An innovative project dedicated to preventing skin cancer through machine learning, co-created by Maya Bakir and Maya ADJADJ, both engineers in intelligent computer systems from the University of Algiers I.

As a reminder, the HealthCare Challenge program is organized in collaboration with CM Consulting, celebrating its 20 years of experience among the leaders in digital transformation in Africa.

A range of benefits is offered to the participating startups, including the opportunity for open innovation collaboration with CM Consulting, significant support and guidance, and a grant of 500,000 DZD to the best startup of the program, which will be revealed during the grand finale of the Algeria Startup Challenge.
